Scioto Mile

For you non local people...the Scioto Mile is a place in downtown Columbus.  I avoided it like the plague the first few weeks it was open, I figured it would be PACKED with Columbus' finest residents.  We gave in and headed down there one day with Logann, Kasch, Sarah, Hayden & Cindy.  Zoe LOVED it.  Kasch enjoyed it too.  It's FREE...OVERALL.  If you can find a meter, or somewhere to park.  BUT you have to be prepared to pay for parking!

Zoe and I went back down this past weekend with Ashley & her girls.  We pulled into this parking lot that we thought was going to be free because it was a weekend...NOPE...it was 10 FREAKING dollars. 

 I love that one :)

Pinterest

I have friends who have been using Pinterest for awhile now...I knew the general concept of it...you see things you like and you "pin" them on your board.  Ok, whatever I thought...I don't need to get into something else.  My bookmarks work just fine....or so I thought!
I then took a little visit to pinterest this morning...and BAM I was addicted.  There's no turning back now :)
It's amazing.  If you haven't been...you should visit.  Make an account and start pinning away.  It's a genius way to save things you love!

I have a few different boards, some that I haven't added anything to yet, but I had to MAKE myself get off of it this morning because I had already spent too much time on it!

Zoo, Zoo, Zoo!

 On Memorial Day we (Devon, Megan, Mom & I) took the girls to the Zoo.

 Zoe's favorite...the Snakes!

 Actually maybe the Manatee's were her favorite.  She just sat there and watched and watched. 

 They went on their first carasoul ride...They both loved it so much they threw a fit and didn't want to get off!  If you can't tell..it was super HOT!

It was a great day, although it was hot.  But that's what happens when you're walking around on blacktop!  We really wish they'd paint that white!

That girl can DANCE!

A few weeks ago we went to Logann's dance recital.  (Longest Dance recital I've ever been to, but it was worth it)  She did GREAT.  She has such a natural talent for dancing.  She's done Irish dancing the last two years....and she says she's done with it---she's ready to do a dance where she can "move her arms" :)  Priorities, jeex!  hehe.  She's doing HipHop dance next.  There's no doubt in my mind that she'll be great at that too!  Josh, Zoe and I went to the recital along with Mom who took Alvyia so Devon & Megan could have a date night.  (Melissa & Kevin were there too)  The show didn't start until 7:00pm so it was already late, but the hardest part of the whole thing was the fact that they gym where the recital was, was about 110 degrees---and I'm NOT even exaggerating.  Maybe even hotter.   It was packed full of people, and super warm with no air movement.  We made it through though.  We cheered for all the dancers and waited patiently for Logann.

So proud of you Log!  Keep on dancing girl!  We love you! xoxo
