Zoe

I owe you an update on Zoe...so here's quick one.  Somethings I was just thinking that she's been doing.

She is trying to pull herself up on stuff. All. The. Time.  She won't sit.  She get to her knee's and hasn't figured out how to stand her foot up yet. Won't be long!

She's still loving the water!  We made two trips to the big splash last week and she can't get enough of the water. 

She now says "ba", when you ask her if she wants a bottle!  (Great timing, considering we'll be kicking it soon!)

She does the Itsy Bitsy Spider.  LOVE IT :) SOO CUTE!

Her sleep schedule has been changing.  She stays up later at night now...which is a-ok with us.  More play time.  She's been in bed at the latest by 9:30, but it's generally 8:00-8:30.  Although there have been nights where we're out doing something and she's still going strong at 10:30-11:00. 

She eats everything...and she's a good eater!  Last night I made this pasta, and she DEVOURED it...(After she had already eaten her little entre) and Josh fed her olives.  She ate several of those too.  I don't know where she puts it :)

I've got a ton of stuff ready for her party!  Invites will go out early next week!  I gotta get some other stuff in order...her party is gonna be AWESOME.  If I had more time....I'd be a party planner :)

Big Splash

I only had Alyvia today! So mom, and Logann came up and we took the girls (Logann, Alyvia and Zoe) to The Big Splash! 

They had so much fun.  Mom and I did too.  I'm exhausted.  It's crazy how the sun and swimming wears you out.  I also got really sunburnt.  I guess I learned I need to listen to my mama and put sunscreen on. 

Snapshots

My photographers workshop started today! 
I'm enrolled in Karen Russell's Snapshots of a Good life photographers workshop.  It's a 10 week long course.  Cindy and I signed up awhile back.  She did the first session and it ended a week or so ago, and mine started today.  I am super excited and hoping to learn A LOT.  But I'm also nervous about the reading/keeping up.  It's a lot of printing and reading.  But I'm trying to devote as much time as possible to it so that I get my money's worth out of it. 
Karen is an AMAZING woman...a wonderful photographer..awesome mommy...and a fabulous scrapbook designer.  I've been blessed to hang out with her when she visited Ohio a few years back, when Leslie and I got to spend a few days with her.  And now I get to learn from her. 
I'll be sure to keep you posted and share photos with you. 

White Dress, Pink Flowers

I have been MIA latley because we've been super busy!

The wedding (Devon and Megan's) is now less than one week away....6 days actually.  EEEK.
We've been doing lots of last minute things.  I have several more things to do and not much time to do them!

Tonight is my homework night... so I'm hoping to get their programs done today, in between playing with the little one. 

After the wedding, I have lots of photos to update you with.

A case of the sickies!

We've gone through SO many tissues the last few days here. 
It started with Zoe...she had a runny nose and watery eye..it was all red and puffy.  I took her to the doctor last Tuesday and she had an ear infection.  They gave her an antibiotic and we were on our way.

Then...Josh got sick.  Yucky cough, bad headache, runny nose, sore throat.  We had a dr appointment scheduled for yesterday for him for something else anyway...so when he went he asked the doctor about his cold.  It turned out to be something virual, she gave him an antibiotic just incase, along with some cough medicine for night time and something else to help with the mucas.

Then I got it!  I {knock on wood} don't have it as bad as Josh. The same time I started feeling sick, Zoe started getting worse.  Her eyes have been watering as much as her nose has been running.
I took her back to the doctor yesterday and her ear infection was worse.  Now in both ears!! So, we changed her meds. Hopefully they work quickly. She looks sooo pitiful :( And she just wants to be held all the time.  I have slept on the couch with her the last two nights because she can't breathe when she lays down...it just makes her cough and gag! :(

Let's hope we all get better soon! 

My New Venture!

I am excited to announce that I am now a Premier Designs Jeweler!!
I signed the papers last week and should be receiving my kit very soon. 

Josh and I talked, and decided this was the best decision for our family.  I needed to get a part time job...but the hours and the pay just were not going to cut it.  I have a cousin in Illinois who recently signed up, so I signed under her!  My cousin is now my {premier} mom hehe. 

I'm VERY excited about this.  I love jewelry... and this is a great chance for me to get out, make my own schedule, and also support our family.

I will be having my training show {It's my kick off party} on June 30th!  So put that on your calendar and watch for an email or invite from me!  You better be here.  And bring your calendar with you, so we can schedule a party for you!  You know you want LOTS of FREE jewelry!
