Since I've been a slacker...

A blog slacker that is...I thought I needed to do a post real quick, while I had a minute.

I know I missed Ten on Tuesday :( Boo. Actually I missed it twice.  Double boo.

In GOOD news....my friend Amy was blessed with the BEST Christmas present ever.... See her blog for details.  And I get to do a newborn session with them next weekend.  I cannot wait.  I have a ton of props that I'm dying to use on a newborn...I think her neighbors are going to think I'm moving in, with all the stuff I'll have :)

Tonight, (NYE) we're going OUT!  I'm so excited.  We're going out with Sarah & Paul.  Zoe's going to ring in the New Year (sleeping) with Granny & Alyvia.  At Granny's house. Dad has to work, so the girls are going to keep her company.  Tomorrow we're having New Years dinner at Megan & Devon's so we'll be without Zoe for pretty much 24 hours.  eek.  I'll miss her TONS, but tonight will be fun.  It's a much needed night out. 

Our Christmas was FANTASTIC.  It was soooo much fun watching Zoe open presents and play.  We did Christmas Eve with Josh's family.  His dad & Teri (his girlfriend) and Jessi & Jake (Josh's brother and sister) came up around noon. We had Pizza, opened gifts and played some games.  Then around 5, Tammy (Josh's mom) & Marty (her boyfriend) came up and we did gifts again, and just hung out and snacked.  They left around 8 and Josh and I got ready for Santa to come!  Then we curled up and watched a movie. 

Christmas morning we both woke up with Zoe (she slept in until about 8:30).  Josh walked out into the living room with her, while I stood with the Camera/video camera to record her face.  She was so excited when she saw all her toys/gifts. 

We spent Christmas day at home all day, until late afternoon we went to my grandma Nita's (dad's moms)and then to my mamaw & papaws (moms parents) for a bit.  THEN, on the way home....we were on the freeway....I had forgot my phone at home that day, so I was playing a game on Josh's....he looked down at the phone for a SPLIT second and BAM.  Hit something..... It was LOUD (But it didn't wake Zoe)  Turns out we hit a tire on the side of the freeway.  Nice.  We were only about 3 miles from home.  We just got the car back yesterrday.  $828.00 in damages.....new bumper and some other stuff underneith the car.

We celebrated Christmas with my family on Sunday.  We did brunch at mom and & dad's along with, movies, naptime and presents!  It was a great day too!  Zoe got a BIKE.  She loves it... we will be taking lots of walks!

Shopping!

Thank goodness the mall is open until 11:00pm this time of year!  I know when I worked retail, I hated that....but now that I needed to go there to do some shopping at 8:30pm last night...I LOVED it.  There was NO ONE there...I could get what I needed and get out of there.  We didn't stand in one line!

I still have more stuff to get...but we got basically ALL of Zoe's shopping done...and a few other people too.  There's still one more item that I really want to get her.  Josh doesn't want to get it...but I do!  I think I'm going to go get it anyway :) I think she'll love it.

I'm hoping to get the rest done tonight and tomorrow...wish me luck :)

Christmas!

Typically every year I have my shopping done by now.  And it's usually wrapped and under the tree waiting to be opened.  Not this year...I just started today.  I hate it :( I hate shopping when the stores are so busy, I hate the weather, and the rushing.  But this year we had no other option.  So we started....I have a long way to go! 
I'm hoping to get some more knocked out tomorrow and Saturday evening and then one day next week and be done.

Then I'll have to wrap it all!! Which is my favorite part :)

Ten on Tuesday!

Today is Tuesday....and while I could bore you with 10 different things today.... I only have one specific thing on my mind.

1. I just turned in my LAST finance assignment. 
2. Tonight after class I'll run home and take my LAST finance quiz. 
3.Tonight is my last time sitting in a classroom!
4. 12 weeks of crap...DONE!
5. I get a small break until January 3.
6. Then I'll begin my LAST trimester! 
7. Next trimester is two courses, both online.
8. One twelve week and one six.
9. They overlap for like 3-4 weeks or so
10. THEN...I will be a college Graduate!  May 8th, 2011!  eeeekk :)

I know it's not very exciting for you...but I'm VERY happy about it.  That's all for today. 

Ten on Tuesday

1.  Am I supposed to start at 1, or 10?  Do I usually start at 1 or 10?  I can't ever remember when I start typing!
2.  I'm going to be an Aunt AGAIN.  I don't think I shared that here yet!  Devon & Megan will welcome baby number two mid July. Yahoo! 
3.  I only have tonight, plus next Tuesday left of my Finance course and I can cross this entire trimester off the list! Can it be next tuesday at 9:00pm please?
4.  I ordered some Uggs.  I did NOT Pay $180 for them.....but they weren't free.  I can tell you I'm already thinking they're worth the investment.  I get them on the 13th.  I can't wait.
5.  You know what happens when your car goes off the road/lane on the highway.  Yes, you wreck.  We ALLLLL know that.  So WHY do people have to rubber neck and hold up traffic.  There are emergency vehicals there, they're taking care of the situation.  You turning your head and hitting your breaks from the OTHER SIDE of the freeway is only going to make things worse for traffic, and piss me off.  So don't do it!
6.  Josh upgraded his iphone.  Lucky duck.  I have to wait until May.  He sucks.
7.  I have no idea what to get him for Christmas.  He usually asks for something.  This year not much.
8.  My list is never ending :) Isn't it always though hehe.
9.  Leslie Sleesman is an awesome friend.  I KNOW I've said that one before, but it's true.
10.  I need to get our Christmas cards designed.  I started them...but I'm stuck looking for this font.  I need to get on that!

Santa Train

Yesterday there was a BIG group of us who all made the trip down to Nelsonville for a ride on the Santa Train.  It was a PERFECT day for it.   It was cold and snowing! 
Zoe behaved very well for having to sit on a train for two hours.  We actually sat in our seats the whole time.  I figured we'd have to get up and walk around with her.
