I'm not Nesting

Well I guess everyone thought when they saw that photo that it was our closet hehe. No not yet. Although it does have several bags sitting in it, of things we've bought and been given to us.
But My closet will look like that the first chance I get hehe:)

Josh is doing well...with this teeth. The stitches are still in there and he's just being careful with what he eats. He is able to open his mouth more now which he says is so nice.

A random thought I had this morning...
If I listen to the radio 1 more time and the news sounds like this:
X Car Dealer lost X amount of money last month.
Company X is laying of X number of people tomorrow.
We are in X amount of debt.

I'm going to scream. I bet the sales of Prozac have gone up!

OCD

I'm a little OCD... just a little though.
And it kicks in when I get an idea or want to find something and it doesn't go (or I can't find) exactly how I wanted.
I want to find these shelves/cart things for the baby's closet! They are on wheels and according to target are for the kitchen.

Teeth & 1st Birthdays!

Josh had his wisdom teeth out on Friday. I have stories about that!! We'll save those for another day. He's doing well though. He has been wanting to eat all kinds of food that his mouth just isn't ready for yet. He went to Audreys Birthday Party with me today (by choice I did not make him) and he nibbled on a cupcake. Hopefully tomorrow he'll be doing even better. I think he's going to stop taking the pain meds, he says he can't even tell he's taking them.

Audrey is one!! Holli had a cupcake theme party for her..she took her time eating her huge cupcake but she loved it. At one point she tried to lean forward and take a bite out of it but wasn't close enough...

See that pink dot of icing on her forehead...yea Josh did that. He's so nice to the children haha

a rut.

I feel like I've been in a photo rut latley. I don't know why... I just feel like all my photos have sucked. I think it's because I get in a hurry and I need to slow down and get the good shots again.

I took some photos of Alyvia last night, quickly, but that's because it was her time to eat and she was mad at us for making her cold. Maybe I'll get to try again when we have more time. I'm going to try to photoshop them today/tonight and see what I can make out of them...hopefully a couple of good ones.

My poor child on the other hand won't know what they're mom looks like without a camera in front of her face :) Josh and I plan to do a pregnancy photo shoot....well someone will do it for us. And then after he/she is born I'll of course do newborn ones.

I also think I need to take some kind of photography course...online or something. I'll have to check into that!

I got to meet her last night... she squeeks and talks while she sleeps they're the cutest little noises.
I told Megan she's going to be in trouble because she already talks non stop like her daddy...who also just likes to hear himself :)
Mom and baby (and dad) are doing well...they're coming home tonight!

Inspiration

I haven't scrapped in awhile and I've been dying to get some done.

So I've been buying, organizing, and ordering photos so I can get on it!
I plan to scrap this weekend. I WILL make time for it.

I have a lot of page kits I want to finish...then get started on the running project of the PG journal!

This weekend Josh and I headed to Hilliard and met Leslie at Little Darlings. We both found a few cute pieces of clothing..but nothing too exciting.
After that J & I went to Babies R Us to do our registry! And we ended up buying a crib...what a great valentines day :) We also bought a few little things and then two pieces of "wall art" for the room. We've pretty much decided on the colors for the room. I can't wait until it's finished so I can show you! Sorry you have a while to wait hehe.

Yesterday mom met me there (BRU) again, and I bought more clothes! eek. She (& dad) also bought us our baby monitor :)
We have a few bags of clothes now...so I guess we'll be making that trip back to ikea to get that dresser so we have somewhere to put all this stuff haha.

I plan to work on getting that room cleared out this weekend while Josh is sleeping/resting. He has his wisdom teeth taken out Friday morning so he won't be much help.

Baby Update

I had a doctor appointment today. :)
She said everything looks/sounds great!
I got to hear the heart beat...it was the fastest coolest "whosh whosh whosh" It is in the 150's...so make that what you want. Boy or Girl. Could go either way!
As of tomorrow I'll be in the 2nd trimester. So exciting!!

I lost one pound, which I was NOT expecting. I thought for sure I had gained a few.

Friday will be week 14! :)

Do Not Laugh....

I'm still in that "fat" looking stage...not the "pregnant" looking stage!! This is my 13 week Pumpkin looking photo hahaha :)

This isn't the best photo b/c Nataleigh took it w/ her phone... :) But it's better than the ones Josh's takes hahaha!

Someone get me some taffy...

I've been craving taffy....ya know the kind that the kids usually sell at school and it's like a rectangle..probably like 3x5 and then the taffy is perforated into smaller rectangles.
There was grape, strawberry and cherry.

I need some now. I just can't find it.

I thought it was willy wonka..but now I don't think it is.

My neighbor tells me a drive thru close to my house has some...I will be going there tonight.

It feels good to be productive!

Josh and I had a really productive weekend.
Friday night we just relaxed and hung out...made dinner.
Saturday we ran over to my grandparents for about an hour... it was a nice quick visit. I had to drop something off to my mamaw.
Then I had to be back for an online meeting for school. After a little homework Josh and I got to work doing things around the house. I painted the pantry wall red... (where the new dry wall went up) and I re-painted the entire wall and the one in the living room...they needed another coat of red.

I then cleaned like a mad woman :) Bathrooms and kitchen mostly... then dusting and sweeping the whole house.
After some other organization and finishing little projects it was time to get ready to meet Nataleigh. We saw "He's just not that into you..." it was really cute. Nataleigh and I decided it shows what can happen to relationships if you don't work at them always.

Today the plan was to meet liz and scrapbook...well we got to cord to find out we had to leave. They had some girl scout class scheduled so we didn't even get to unpack our stuff.
So I headed home and cleaned the basement! Josh washed all the cars and cleaned the garage a little!
We made some steaks for dinner on the grill since it was so nice outside... YAY for 50 degrees :)
Now I just finished my homework and I plan to pick up my scrap room a little and either scrap and watch tv...or just go veg out and chill while watching my Sunday night shows :)

Who cares about databases anyway?

I had to take this stupid Microsoft Access Class for my degree...it's only one credit hour..and it sucks! It's over next Saturday and I can't wait!
Actually It'll probably be over for me Tuesday.....that's when we do our final presentation...Tuesday can't come soon enough.

But first I'm going to enjoy the weekend...
including some scrapbooking with Liz and a movie with Nataleigh.

Reading some old stuff

I was reading through some old blog entries... and realized a few sad things.
- I won't be at MV this year for Nataleigh's Birthday .
- Bill won't be here this year for the Pool party (and I probably won't either..unless I get Cass to schedule it early) (Bill is the first guy on the left)
-This year at my 4th of July Party I won't be wearing those cute shorts and shirt...instead it will be this maternity dress.
- On Leslie's Birthday she'll be a mommy too!

So amazing how things can change so much in a year...or even less.
I think it's going to be a great year :) I can't wait to see how it goes.

Oh...and I just got a text from megan that said "you could be an aunt in 24 hours" and now she's not answering me...so i don't know what is going on!

What's the first thing you do when you get home?

I walk in, remove my shoes, say hi to Manny & Josh and put on my PJ's! :)
I plan to do that tonight too. Josh is going to play basketball so I have the house to myself. I have to do some homework and then work on a project for my grandma then I plan to relax.

I don't work tomorrow so I'm going to try to paint the pantry wall! If I get it done I'll post a final photo....I've been made aware that I haven't let you see the final finished project.

Some other updates...
I go to the doctor one week from tomorrow! Yay.
The spot on my heal was indeed a plantars wart and it hurts.
I decided on my next home project...except it should be pretty easy (doesn't involve a saw)
My belly is getting bigger. I think it grows at night while I sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night and I swear it had gotten bigger.
I have something going on every Saturday in February now...which proves that this spring/summer is going to be here before I know it!
My mom has officially bought baby B 4 books. 3 Curious George (my personal favorite) and a bedtime prayer book.
I have to ask dad to build this book holder.
I'm 60% decided on a crib...but I keep switching back to that 40%.
Our list of girl names gets longer and longer. (We already know the boy name. )
I pretty much get to pick the girl name because Josh picked the boy name.

I think it's a girl. It's just a moms instinct!

A little bowling

Josh's mom, brother, sister and Peter (their foreign exchange student) came up and we ate lunch then went bowling! Josh beat all of us of course! But I didn't loose so that was good :) I bowled by worst game ever...and I blamed it that my body wasn't used to moving the extra 11 pounds. haha It's a good excuse anyway.

Little Peanut

Our little peanut...is not longer the size of a peanut...he/she is a Plum!

Josh thinks that's awesome...(As do I, but it's funny to see him get all excited)

I go to the doctor again next week! (The 11th) Just a little check up..nothing fancy. I am hoping she'll tell me what the heart rate it.

I'm also hoping to persuade her on the date of my next visit. We find out the sex between weeks 18 & 22...so after this appointment I'll go back in 4 weeks (which will be the 2nd week of march) which means I'll be 17 weeks and 5 days grr. I don't know if she'll be able to tell the sex..if she can't then I want to see if she'll just see me the following week instead.

I will blog more later. I have photos from bowling yesterday :)
