Happy 4th of July!

Last year I wanted to have a 4th of July party..but since we had just moved into the house, time snuck up on us and we didn't get time to plan it. So this year we did it! It worked out well because I had that weekend off and so the party planning began :) I am such a party planner anyway so mom helped me get things together and the weekend came quickly.
It has been raining here for..hmm..I don't even know how long now! WAY TO LONG! So I kept hoping for no rain. Party was going to start at 6pm and it rained until 5:15 PM..Imagine that. The back yard was muddy so we set up the tables in the garage and the tent on the driveway. It worked out well!
We had a nice time and it was great to visit with everyone!

Holli, Kyle and the Girls came, who I haven't seen since Audrey was born!
Family came!
Friends from work came and brought their spouses, that was nice to meet their other halves :)

Aaden is one of my Favorites..and Hannah! I know you're not supposed to have favorites..but they're not my kids so I can, right? :)

I could watch that show all day. If I lived in PA....I'd be their nanny! I DVR them all...and I have my favorite episodes :)
And now they have a book! YAY! I can't wait to read it. It's called Multiple Bles8ings.

I love the way Jon and Kate parent. There's a lot of junk out there about them, about how Kate talks to Jon, and how they handle things....but what you would do if you had 8 children, you wouldn't exactly have time or the place to talk and handle things the way you do now with your husband.

I asked Josh if we could go for hormone treatments to have multiples and he didn't like that idea haha!

Funny how 1 little thing and ruion a guys WHOLE night!

Tonight Josh and I took manny for a drive...and Josh likes to store CD's in the sun visor (If it's flipped up) and when he hit his breaks at a stop sign they fell down and one of them was in a case...and it landed on his dash...on that like plastic piece that covers your speedometer...and CRACK! It busted the plastic!
He was sooo mad...still is!
He called a chevy dealer and you evidentally have to buy a whole new dash piece. So we're going to check with the junk yard!!

Movies..

I'm kind of a movie junkie.
We watched The Bucket List on Father's Day! (While listening to Manny chew on a water bottle haha) It was a good one! Kind of slow at first, but once into it, it turned out to be interesting. It's the kinda of movie that makes you think about what you're doing with your life, where you're going and how you're living it.


I recently bought Fool's Gold..I'm anxious to watch it :) It doesn't help that I'm in love with Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson both, but then the two of them in one movie is awesome! Now I have to talk Josh into watching it.... Maybe Meg and I can watch it Friday night :)

Josh and I have very different tastes in movies so to sit down and agree on a movie it takes some time. He loves to watch action, drama, ya know boy kinda movies...and I like the romantic comedy, mushy, funny, kind of movies.

Mike Albert-Elvis!

This month my mom's sister (My Aunt Tuwana) turned 50. My mom and my mamaw got tickets for us girls to go see Mike Albert at the Villa Milano. For those of you who don't know who Mike Albert is...he's an Elvis impersonator!

It was a very good show! He was a great performer...he came off the stage, walked around hugged people, danced with them, sang to them!

He got ready to sing and came back by Ab, and was like.... "How old are you" and when she said 18 he laughed and went "ha! You wern't even born yet!"

Forever Student...

I've been in school for what seems like forever! I am to that point where I'm almost finished and cannot wait to be done!
I sat down last night and made a list of all the classes I have left to take, and then figured out how long it's going to take to get done...if all goes as planned I can be done in 4 quarters...maybe quicker if I really bust my butt and pay for some of it without loans.

There's a math class that they said I need to take unless I can test out of it..so I need to make time and go take the test, I just keep putting it off. And as I'm putting it off, I'm forgetting more and more of that math, which I need to test out of the class haha!

I made a list over on the side blogs I visit frequently! Leslie And Dustin just started one for their life up north! I'm glad they did...keeps me informed of how they are doing up there :)
Amy has been a way better blogger latley! And Karen Russell...she blogs all the time and I love it!!
As for now, no one still reads mine :)

Exhausted!

I've been working a second job.. and this week it has worn me out!
I worked thursday at both jobs, friday at both jobs, saturday morning a meeting at the second job and then I shot a wedding!
The wedding went great! The bride and groom were awesome. The bride was so organized she knew exactly what photos she wanted and didn't want...it made everything go so smoothly!

I will post photos soon! In the mean time I have 700 photos to go through and photoshop!

1 Month!

So finally I've come to a conclusion...even if no one reads this blog...I will do it for me! For josh and for whatever or whoever the future holds! Maybe someday I can look back on it and use it as a journal :)

I picked up a second Job working at Victoria Secret...josh and I decided it was time to be serious about paying off bills.

I should be done with school in about a year, so will he! That means it will be time for student loans and maybe a baby. What a combination!

Job is going well. I've decided it's way better than the old one....so much less stress. I have gone back to enjoying scrapbooking instead of thinking of it as work or a hassle!
