My new child...

I'm now the proud new mama to this beauty:

I'm in love with it!  I've been adjusting to a mac, instead of a pc and been working on moving all my stuff over.  I think I finally have it all moved and now I just need to organize my hard drive a bit.

Anyway, in other life news.... I've been planning Zoe's 2nd birthday party!  I do not have as much done as I had done at this time last year, but we have also decided to keep it smaller this year.  We have decided to not spend as much money on her PARTY and use the money and take her on a TRIP!  She LOVES Elmo.  So I've been planning my heart out for a trip to PA, NJ, & NY!  We're going in Ocotber going to Sesame Place, Carlo's Bakery and NYC!  I'm VERY excited for it. 

Josh is officially done with school too, yahoo!  No more homework in this house.  Although he says he's going to do his masters this fall.  I think he's crazy.  It's so nice not having homework to do.  I have so much other stuff I can focus on now. 

Megan is about ready to pop out baby Mason!  She's due July 25th, but there's no way she'll make it that long.  She had a doctor's appointment today and I guess they told her she could be induced a week early if they wanted.  I am shooting the birth to make a birth story.  I'm sooo excited to do it...I don't have an exact plan for what I'd do if she goes into labor and I have Zoe & Kasch, but I guess I'll figure that out when it happens.  Let's hope she goes into labor on a Friday afternoon! hehe :)

MY Day!

I have the entire house to myself today, (well Seth will be here, but he'll sleep and stay downstairs all day, so he doesn't count)  all day....with nothing to do that will require me leaving.  I have some work stuff that I need to get out and I needed several  hours all together to just work and get a bunch of stuff done! 

"Normal" working moms work 8 hour days, typically in some kind of office and they get their work "done" and if they don't they have the next day....I get 3 hours during the weeknight evenings, if I'm lucky.  Zoe goes to bed at 9:00pm, that's when I power up the computer and "get to work."  3 hours is only if I stay up until midnight...which I do MOST of the time, but not always.  But most of the time I do because I'm on a roll and I need to get stuff done.  So I have some work stuff that I've needed to get done for awhile that takes more than 3 hours and  I just want/need to get it done. 

Zoe and Alyvia spent the night with Nini & Poppy last night....and they're spending the day with them today!  They were so excited to leave with mom yesterday afternoon that mom couldn't load the car fast enough.  They were literally pacing at the door!

I couldn't sleep very well last night because I was so excited and worried about today.  I have an entire 8.5x11 pc of paper filled with my to do list, coffee and pandora!

And I planned to write a lot more, but Zoe just had a god awful sound come from her diaper, and Kasch just woke up so that means it's back to work for me!

Maybe I'll blog more tonight after my MASSAGE! :)
