I know I haven't been a good blogger. I have several reasons. But I think when I'm done with school I'll have more motivation to blog again. So just hang in there with me, May 7th I finish my classes, the 8th I graduate!
But for now, here is some randomness that's going on in our lives.
The sick bug hit our house the week before last. Monday, I ended up with no kiddos, and it was Josh's birthday! We spent the day going to get our tags/license, having lunch, taking a nap and just enjoying our time together. Zoe woke up from her nap about 5:00 and when I went in to get her she had Direah. It was everywhere. I decided just to give her a bath. (She needed one anyway.) I got her out, all cleaned up and with comfy clothes on. About 5:30 she was standing in the living room right next to the couch, which Josh and I were sitting on, and she got this look on her face and then threw up everywhere. Everywhere. We got her calmed down and cleaned up, then not even 15 minutes later she did it again. We initally thought it was just her sinus' draining and gaging her, causing her to get sick. But then it happened a 3rd time, and a 4th. I started to worry about her getting dehyrated because it was all liquid. She'd take a drink and it would come right back up.
By puke number 7 we called my dad and asked him to call and send a squad to check her and take us to Children's. Then came #8.
#9 came in the squad on the way to the hospital, then #10 came while we were checking in at the counter (at the hospital). Perfect timing Zoe, now you showed them how miserable you are!
After a few hours of waiting, waiting, waiting. We were sent home with some medicine to calm her stomach, and told that it's just a virus.
I got that lovely virus on Wednesday....Happy Birthday to me!
Melissa (Logann's mom) also got it on Wednesday...not my fault on that one, I was 30 miles away from her!
Josh got it on Thursday. But didn't have it near as bad as Zoe and I.
Mom and Dad got it on Friday.
Kasch (the 4 month old I babysit) got it the following Tuesday night...and his mom got it Thursday. YUCK.
I think we're all back to normal...FINALLY!
