I think I have some readers wondering about the baby's room :)
It's offically done being painted! I finished last night. It looks good. I'm so excited to get things put up and moved in there.
I just took a few quick photos last night with my point & Shoot so they pretty much suck. I'll take some good ones tonight with the natural light.

We just returned from the vet...and Manny lost 4 pounds! YAY :)
Finally!

It's Sunday.

I realized I haven't blogged as much this month as I typically do. Shame on me.
This weekend was not very productive for me..but for Josh it was. Friday after work we went to Lowe's to (insert receipt of lots of money spent here) get lighting and such for the house. Then headed to Red Lobster with Nataleigh and Dave. Natleigh didn't get that I love that place even though I don't eat sea food. One word Nataleigh....BREAD. Then they came over and we played some darts. I suck at them. But they got to laugh at me.

Saturday I worked all day...but my dad, Josh's dad and brother came up and helped run all the wiring for: outlets in the garage, lights in the garage, carriage lights on the garage, lights in the baby's room and lights in my scrapbook room! They got 60% done. Josh was finishing 20% today (hanging the carriage lights) but he has to do my scrapbook room now because I guess his dad cut a wire he wasn't supposed to cut.
After work I went to scrapbook with the girlies. I didn't get as much done as I would have liked.

Today, I'm at work until 5 then I'm headed home to clean the house and paint the baby's room. Our house has become full of dust and drywall dust from all the sanding and stuff the past few days. And Megan and Alyvia are coming over tomorrow so we have to get it cleaned up!

Week 20

My devoted reader and commenter has told me I need to update the blog :)

Today brings us to week 20. Not much different is going on. I think I've been feeling movements... still not 100% sure that's what they are though.

Our rocker and ottoman came in last night at BRU...so I picked it up today! Josh is doing the final sanding on the room tonight and I'm going to start painting tonight.

We're also going to run to Lowes and pick the lighting...he and his dad are running the electric and installing the lighting tomorrow. YAY. I work ALL weekend so I won't really be working on the Baby B room much. I am off on Monday though and plan to work on it a little then :)
Then Wednesday is the BIG U/S day. Yay. We are very excited...and I'm a little nervous.

checklist

Reading through my pregnancy book this is the list of things that I might be feeling about now. (19 Weeks)

-More energy ...Sike..can I sleep please?
-Fetal Movement ....not so much yet.
-Achiness in the lower abdomen and along the sides ...check
-Constipation....no thank you
-Heartburn...check sometimes!
-Occasional headaches....check this for everyday of the week!
-Backache...no thank you
-Nasal congestion and occasional nosebleeds....check for the nosebleeds column.
-Sensitive gums...nope
-Hearty appetite...well if I tell you I just ate a ham & Cheese croissant and french toast sticks does that answer the question:)
-Leg cramps...not yet, lets keep it that way
-Mild swelling of ankles and feet...nope
-Varicose veins of legs....sadly the answer is yes.
-Skin color changes on abdomen and/or face...nope not that I've noticed.
-A growing sense of reality about the pregnancy...my checkbook has noticed it.
-Fewer mood swings....well Mark told me this morning that if the landscapers jacked up our pool cover he was sending me out there...so what's that tell you?!

Busy Weekend

This weekend was another good one :)
Josh and I headed to polaris mall on Friday night for dinner and some shopping. They're the only place in town that has a maternity clothing store...and I needed work pants!

Saturday I went to Logi's last basketball/cheerleading game. (will post those photos later. they're on my camera still) Then I took Devon, Megan & Alyvia to take some Easter family Photos! They turned out good. I'm happy with them, hopefully they like them. I then ran a few places with mom, mamaw and Jacob. We ordered my rocker!! (Exciting!!) and got stuff for baby shower invites!! (Exciting again) After all the running around I was so tired...I came home and was just LAZY the rest of the night. Loved that!

Yesterday Josh and I went to piketon and visited with his grandparents for the day. I don't get to go down there very often so its nice to get down there and visit. Josh and I could sit and talk to them all day. Which we usually do...along with food. This time it was Dakotas and some peanut butter eggs for me... yuummy!

PS...a little over a week and we'll know what is growing inside me!

This tree had a millon peoples initals carved in it...He tried to put his and Megs in it...but I guess the tree had too many knots in it :( So he just got his!

Josh and I were talking this morning and we've decided that our Baby B is going to be spoiled and he/she isn't even here yet!

While at his grandparents this passed weekend his grandma said she wanted to purchase something for us/baby or for the room. He said he kept telling her she did not have to do that, but she kept asking what else we needed. I told him that is what grandparents are for and do and if she wants to get something she's going to do it no matter what he says and it would be rude to deny her of that right. (Even though it is not expected or needed)

We've been blessed with family members and friends who have bought things or let us know they're buying things. My parents have helped more than I could ever have imagined and my mamaw (along with a few others) are buying us the rocker I picked out!

Josh, the baby sweet potato and myself feel so blessed to have such awesome family and friends! And we Thank all of you for each and every thing you have (or might in the future) purchase or ways you have supported us.

90th Birthday

Today we drove to Marietta for my Great Great Aunt's 90th Birthday Party! It was great to see some family...whom we don't see very often. I think we're going to try to go again this summer or maybe in September for the Stern Wheel Festival.
Quite possibly my favorite photo of the day..... (that's my papaw, my moms dad, admiring Alyvia's smile. He said he loves their (babies) little smiles.) He also told me he didn't want to know what our baby is when we find out! :) I can respect that.

Pretty much the only decent one mom got of Josh and I because my eyes were closed in like three of them. oops.

18 Weeks

Today is Friday so that means we're at 18 weeks :)

Megan and Devon are spending the night tonight. We're making tacos for her bday and then i'm going to get her a cheescake. Tomorrow we're all heading to Marietta for a great aunts 90th Birthday party. It's going to be like a little Family Reunion too since everyones coming to town.

Last night we went to mamaws because two sets of great aunts and uncles (whom are in town for the marietta trip) came over to visit. I got to see little miss A. She totally missed her auntie Tash because she streched her neck to see and listen to me when I was talking to her :) hehe.
BTW there are lots of stories behind these photos that I will not bore you with...if you ever have a few hours to kill and wanna hear them...give me a call haha.

Coming into sweetness....

So we're still in week 17. Friday will be week 18 and she/he'll become a sweet potato!

I think this one is horrible! I just look chunky but the girls liked it. And this is what Whitney sees for 8 hours a day while we sit at work so she caught a glimpse of how big it was getting today and they had to take a photo :)

Weddings & Babies

This spring and summer are going to go so fast and be full of fun events. There are lots of weddings and babies around me...including mine!
Nataleigh's sister is getting married May 16th and I'm doing photos for them... That should be fun :)
Whitney's wedding is June 6th so that's a wedding and a shower.
Mom and Dad's 25th Wedding Anniversary is the beginning of June and dad turns 50 at the end of June! I'm planning to plan a party or cookout for them for that.
My shower will probably be July 11th...
My calendar is quickly filling up. Plus starting in May I have to work every Sunday...and every other Saturday. That means the opposite Saturdays I'll be running around and planning things for Baby B.
Josh and I are going to be doing a Maternity shoot with a Photographer that we found through Whitney! So we really have to figure out what day that is going to be...and then hope that the weather works for us :)

It's going to go so fast!!

Almost an Onion.

I'm at 16 weeks...Friday we'll have a baby Onion! (At 17 wks)

Yesterday was like the longest Saturday..but I loved it. I got a little of everything in, Shopping, Family, Eating, Friends, Cleaning! My kinda Saturday. Mom and I satrted the day off early leaving the house to head to the Twins (baby) sale in Hilliard...we got in there...walked around..said how ridiculous it was and walked out. There were so many people and the line was so long, we would have waited in line for 2 hours...not worth it to me! So we headed to Old Navy for some pregnancy clothes...THANK YOU FOR PG JEANS! LOVE THEM! My jeans have all officially become uncomfortable and tight.

We grabbed some early lunch and headed home. I Cleaned, worked on baby B's room, did lots of laundry and gave manny a bath. And it was only 5 pm!

Then Devon, Megan and little miss A came over. They stayed for about 2 hours to visit and I learned that Alyvia loves to have her butt patted. Not a gentle pat either...she made noises at me every time I stopped. hehe. And the best part was Manny got to meet a little baby. He did great. He sniffed her head a lot and every time she made a noise he was up & he would cry until he knew what was wrong. He also layed at the feet of whoever was holding her.

Next was 10:00 Rockin' Bowling with Nataleigh and Dave. We bowled for 2 hours so we got almost 3 entire games in. I did much better this time and I tried to teach Nataleigh some techniques. :)
