Computer failure..

I've had my computer since March of '04...it was a graduation present from my parents and my grandparents. And it's dying :(
It has some virus...that Josh and I can't get rid of. And it's been doing all these goofy things.
Like a few months ago, my drag and drop options quit working....and I can't stand that. I use those all the time, with my pictures and everything!
And now, I have pop-ups out the ying yang.
So I've been thinking for awhile now, that when it goes, when I replace it, I might get a laptop. I would love to have the ability to bring it to work (for my lunches) or sit in the living room and edit photos, instead of always being stuck to one room.
I've been studying them online...and researching. I think I want a dell. And I think it's most cost efficent to order it from them. (So I can make it just how I want it.)
So maybe sometime soon I'll be blogging from a new computer :)

I dislike my husband...

Because he is going to the game Saturday (with his dad) and I am envious!
His dad had two tickets and called him today to see if he wanted to go!
He's very excited!
I am for him. But still envious!

I think....

I'm getting sick. Or a cold. Or something.
So I'm going home and sucking on Coldeez
and then I should be good!
I swear by those things!

Busy Weekend!

We had a pretty busy weekend.
Friday, I took a 1/2 of a vacation day from work and Josh and I headed down to Piketon at like 5. We stopped to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Osborn for a few minutes before the game. Piketon was playing Waverly and was supposed to be a good game so we walked over to the Football Field at like 6:45 and there was still no where to sit. We spent the entire game...standing...no fun. It was already 10:00pm and it was only the 3rd quarter so we left and went to Pizza hut with Josh's friend Seth and his girlfriend. Then we drove home..and got home after midnight!

Saturday I got up and did some homework. I'm still trying to get back in the swing of things with school. I recently re organized my scrapbook room, so it's hard to sit at my computer (which is in my scrapbook room) and study! (When I'd rather be scrapbooking) A friend of ours asked me to do the photography for his friends wedding, so that was Saturday afternoon. It was a small wedding, but very cute and simple. I'll post a few photos later when I go through all 577 of them!

Saturday night we went out to Lucky's for my friend Nataleigh's birthday. Josh got to be the DD this time..and I got to drink :) We had fun...Thanks Nataleigh and Dave for inviting us.

Then Sunday..it was back to work, nothing too exciting to report on that front. It was nice out so lots of people at the pool...until it started storming. After work we went to mom & dads, had dinner and then Devon made us play volleyball in the rain! Fun stuff :)

Yesterday was Amy's Birthday! She has a great Birthday Vacation planned...she is going to Niagra Falls! Have Fun Amy, I can't wait to read the blog about ;) (And Amy I do not have a photo of the just the two of us....)



And today...Is Nataleigh's Birthday! Happy Birthday Girlie! I hope you had a great day off and I hope your plans worked out! Nataleigh, also has a little mini vacation planned...well at least away of MV. :)

back to school i shall go...

School started this week for me too! I have 3 classes this quarter....1 step further to being done! And then it will be time to PAARRRTTYY.

So for now it's Advertising online and Business Law in class. Then in Novemeber it's Macroeconomics. Lots and Lots of reading. I've always been a good student, but honestly, I can not read long boring text books...they seriously put me to sleep. They make me nap! no joke. So I'm trying a few new things this quarter, first Monday I sat outside and read. That helped a lot because it was bright, hot and fresh air! Tuesday night I sat in the living room with Josh, put my ipod in and read a few chapters. I made sure Josh watched something boring so I wouldn't get into it! He tried to tease me and turn on J&K+8. Not funny!

I also took my placement test for math last week, and passed woo hoo! I told my mom, I feel like the only thing I know how to do with math anymore is pro-rate rent, and balance a checkbook. But I guess there aren't as many cobwebs up there as I thought.

It's almost football time!

Yes it is! I cannot wait!
Josh and I are going to make a trip to our favorite OSU store tomorrow...
We recently changed our Cable provider to At&t which has the Big 10 network, so our home is going to be the hot spot for the two games that aren't on regular channels. As sad as it is, the first game I have to work :( and go figure it's at noon so I will miss the entire game!
But there are several more that I will be watching with my OSU outfit on :)

Oh and I will be changing the blog background to match hehe!

Anniversary....

I've been Married almost a year...how crazy is that? Time goes way too fast!!
So for our Anniversary, I'm trying to plan something. Can't tell you what, but I need suggestions...

I need a semi-local location with the following:
-Somewhere with land...and water (Deep enough to stand in).
-Somewhere that would be good to go in September or Early October.

Any suggestions on places?

Gibby's & Bowling

Saturday night we met everyone (Melissa & Logann, Kyle, Holli, Audrey, Maddy, Mom & Dad, Dev & Meg) at Gibby's in Circleville for dinner. We try to do this once in awhile so we can all visit! We all kind of decided that we are never impressed with the food, but it's nice there because we have this OSU room to our selves and with the girls running around...it gets kind of loud!
It was nice to visit with everyone.

It was cute seeing Dev & Meg with Audrey :)
After dinner Mom, Dad, Dev & Meg headed home, but the rest of us decided we'd go to good 'ol Circle D for some Bowling!
It brought back many memories for Holli and I! Including the spot of Holli's first kiss! (Which Kyle didn't like hehe)

 


 
 

Wii would like to play!

This past week Josh's Brother and Sister came to spend the night on Thursday...and they brought their Wii. Jake forgot his Wii sports so they went and rented a carnival game, until Larry brought the sport one over on Friday.

Josh took vacation from work Thursday and Friday, and I didn't have to work Friday, so we spent the night Thursday eating pizza and playing the Wii.

(And then Jake left it here for us to play so Josh and I have been playing Wii Sports every now and then!)

Pool Party at Work...

We had our Annual Pool Party at work yesterday. We ended up having a pretty good turn out. We had a balloon toss (Mark and I "got the silver metal" he says) and we had a limbo contest and lots of other prizes.

Alum Creek Dog Park

I had a day off today...And it's the last day mom had both of the girls before they start school, so we decided to take a trip to Alum Creek Dog Park.
I've never been there...and a good friend of mine told me about it.
We packed up some things, including Manny and head up after lunch. The drive wasn't bad at all!
Since this was the first time I had been there, and the first real time Manny's been around any unfamiliar dogs without a leash...I was a little nervous. At first there wasn't anyone in the regular area, so we headed there and manny did a lot of sniffing around. I let him off his leash here because he was the only dog.
(A Little background info about our dog if you didn't already know........We found 5 of them almost 2 years ago...we brought 4 home. (Someone in town kept one) and we found homes for them/ kept them. Therefore we don't really know what Manny has in him. But I SWEAR it's hound dog. That boy can sniff out anything. And he barks like one too.)
Then we decided to go over to the water area. Again, I wasn't ready to let him off his leash so at first I didn't. We got in the water. He sniffed and got sniffed. After awhile I decided that I had to take the risk. I let him off his leash and he was fine. He had fun, ran around. Swam...well if that's what you want to call it. He wouldn't go any deeper than his feet would reach.
We met some nice dogs and people and then were ready to head home. Manny was tired, and ready for a bath when we got home!

he thinks it's dumb and isn't going to try it. So I guess you just have to put up with my blogging :)

Ab's going back to school...

My Cousin Abigail...(Ab...Abby..Abbers whatever you wanna call her :) )
is going back to school. She goes to Whittenburg. So, last night we had a cookout at my mom & Dad's house. We played football, cornhole, and sat by the fire, and the boys showed off their bikes.

Time Flies

I can't even get over that it's almost the middle of August already :(
I've been married for almost a year...already.
Summer is almost over...already.
It's almost time to think about Christmas presents...already.
Logann's starting Kindergarten...already.
I will be an aunt in like less than 6 months...already.
School starts in like a week...already.
Jeex! Where did the summer go.

I still have things I want to get done before the end of the Summer and before Christmas. I guess I should be happy about the things I have done this year. All the things we've done to our house..that's a big one! I love that!
I've had a fun summer with days at the pool with the girls and 4th of July cookout. Water park trips...Ikea. When I think of those things it makes me feel better about the time that has passed :)

Josh says I changed my middle name to IKEA
And it's true. I'm in love!

Mom and I made a trip to Cincinnati yesterday...we arrived there at about 10:45 and didn't leave until 5:45. It was 7 hours of pure bliss.
I bought several things for the house.
My favorite deals of the day were as follows:
1-A stand and bowls for manny's food $12.00 total
2-Magnetic strips $.99 each (1 for the kitchen and 1 for Scrap room)
3-Table for Scrapbook room for $45
4- Side tables for my bedroom for $12

There was lots more :)
I already have my list for when I return. They were out of catalogs..I'm ever so bitter about that. I was looking forward to going through it and making notes. I guess I will just have to make another trip hehe.

But for now I have to get my house re-organized and put everything away in it's new place. Tonight we will be putting 2 dressers together. I did one last night, now we have 2 more to go :)
