25 Years & 50 Years

Yesterday was the party that we've been planning for mom and dad. We celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and dads 50th Birthday!

We had a good turn out and an awesome day...not too hot, no rain...perfect!

Little Audrey here decided to take off and jump into the pool the second her daddy took his eyes off her. She LOVED it. She threw a fit when he tried to get her out :)

Awesome....

We had an awesome shoot last night with Rachel! She is a friend of a friend...and we started talking on Facebook, and she did our Maternity photoshoot for us. I have been looking forward to it since we booked it in like January or February. I cannot say enough good things about her...expcept that she's awesome. Awesome personality, awesome work, everything.

We cannot wait to see our photos. I'm so glad we did it. Money well spent on the little nudger :)

Let's buy a boat!

Sunday we went out on the boat with Nataleigh and Dave! We headed out, put on some sun screen and were ready for the water and relaxing :)

Father's Day!

Josh had Father's Day dinner with his dad on Friday night...and of course he didn't take any photos. (I wasn't there) They had to celebrate early because Larry was leaving for vacation :)

We had breakfast with my parents, Dev, Meg & Alyvia on Sunday morning. First Watch is always our favorite breakfast stop! Here's a few photos :)

Baby Shower

This past Saturday was my baby shower in Piketon that Josh's mom had for us. It was at his moms house and small...a few Family & Friends.

And this little guy was a gift...j/k :) He was outside Josh's moms house and a guy "risked his life to resue him" and brought him to her front door and gave "him back" so she now has a new addition to the family. He was too cute. I tried to sneak him home!

Last Sunday Josh and I went to moms.... See this post scroll down towards the bottom...
I just found out the boy standing next to my dad, playing corn hole, died tonight in a car accident :(

It's so ironic. My brother is friends with him... I haven't seen him in awhile. Except at the Target starbucks when grabbing coffee! He came to mom and dads Sunday and cooked out/hung out with us.
Then tonight my mom told me he flipped his car and passed away.
It's so horrible... he was about 20.
Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

This story cracks me up!

You can visit her blog (it's at the bottom of the yahoo news story) and read the comments people wrote to her on her May 28th blog entry...everyone's telling her to sue them...(Of course because the whole country is sue happy)
It cracks me up that people don't get that it's not illegal to take photos off the Internet..... you put a picture up...it's fair game. End of story.
They don't have to ask you, or pay you.

Unless it has a copyright on it. Then you're protected.

But you can't put photos on myspace, facebook, ning, or a blog and expect them to be left alone....read the terms and conditions of any "social networking" site people!

3 year old

I think I have the attention span of a 3 year old some days.
I am at work and I tell myself I'm going to come home and be productive and scrapbook, or get some sewing done...then I come home and don't. I actually start cleaning or something..that's when you know your nesting. When you'd rather clean than scrapbook ha!
I cleaned out our hall closet, under the bathroom sink in the spare bath, under our sink in our bathroom (that was last night) and organized the shelf above the washer and dryer.

Actually I started organizing under the sink in the bathroom last night in hopes to find my ped egg....but I can't find that stupid thing anywhere. I really think the borrowers took off with it and are not bringing it back. They must like it.

In other news :)
I went to the doctor today... my belly is 31 cm...so right on track. She said she would put me right on track for a 7 to 8 pound baby! Friday brings us down to the single digits....we'll have 9 weeks left. Eek. That's so crazy.

A week from Saturday is my baby shower in Piketon. I can't believe it's here already. My mom is going down with me so that will hopefully make the drive go faster. I'll probably put her in charge (or ask her) of taking photos for me. Hopefully it goes well. Honestly it might be kind of awkward because I'm not going to know everyone. Shoot, I don't even think Josh knows everyone...some of him just know his mom.

Our maternity photoshoot is two weeks from today! I am so excited I can't hardly stand it anymore. Rachel is just so amazing I just can't wait to see what she does for us. I have places in the house all ready for photos. Which reminds me...Josh and I need to decide on outfits!

Behind.

I'm a little behind on blogging...I've been busy!

Summer is here and I have lots of things on the to do list and the "honey do list" before baby comes!!

Saturday was Whitney's wedding. We work together...we sit next to each other for almost 9 hours a day so I helped her with some wedding stuff...which was kind of fun :) We all know I like to plan things. When I first started working at MV her wedding was like 500 and some days away and she said it was going to take forever...we kept telling her it would fly by...and it did! :)

It was nice because all of us from the office were able to have the day off and go!

Whitney looked beautiful. Her and Matt are now in Jamaica soaking up the sun.

We're now at 30 weeks...working on 31 eeek! It's soo hard to believe. Time has just flown by. I'm getting more hott and uncomfortable. Today I was running in and out of several different stores, I think they were all out to get me....I swear it was 80 degrees in every store I went in. She's about 16 inches long and about 3.5 pounds. The shower Josh's mom is throwing us is just less than two weeks away.

Sorry about my red eyes and nose...allergies were getting the best of me!

Last night we went to mom and dads to cook out and visit...we had some family drama earlier in the day but that story will be saved for another entry.

Alyvia was happy as always, I got to hear her laugh for the first time. Her hair is getting more and more red...and so are her eye lashes.

Oh! And I think Megan and Dev have a little shopper on their hands...I took her inside to change her, and they way they have her room set up, her changing table is in the closet (that they took the doors off of) and her clothes hang above her, so she looks at all the colors while she's being changed. She gets so excited when you lay her down there. She makes noises and laughs, and kicks her legs. The girl loves clothes already :)

Megan got a part time job, she started this week at Walmart. She's waiting (and hoping) to hear back from a full time position as an office assistant in Reynoldsburg. Hopefully that works out for her.
