Wordless Wednesday!

"Zoe"

She can say her name now.  It's so stinking cute.

I say...."Is your name Zoe?" 
She says "uh huh" ::Shakes her head::  Then says "Zooooeeee"  It's hard to type (or even say) how she says it...but it's ADORABLE.

Which reminds me of her second new thing.
She knows questions.  She's actually really good at it.  Her "Yes" is "uh huh" and shakes her head. 
No...is no.

Today I told her no, and pointed my finger at her.  A little bit later she did it to me.  Nice.

I love this age.  Seriously I do.  I love playing with her, and seeing all of these new fun things she's starting to do!!

Something random

I am writing this from my iPhone. And I always have it with me. So...I'm going to try to start posting quick random things Zoe does, so I can go back and have them for her calendar/scrapbook :)

Today while I was driving, Everytime I passed a pond/river she saw it out the window and says "waawaa" and points :) so smart!

Worms

Last weekend I did photos for some (extended) family members of ours.  My & Zoe went with because we haven't seen them in a long time, so we made it a little visit also! 

While I was taking photos my mom let Zoe play with this:

I didn't mind...as long as I didn't have to touch it.  worms of any kind aren't my friend!

Ten on Tuesday

Erin Cobb does a 10 on Tuesday post everyweek.  I love it.  It's 10 random things on her mind.  I'm going to borrow her idea and start doing it. 

1.  Zoe is walking.  She is doing it more and more.  She'll let go and just walk to whatever she wants to walk to.  She can stand herself up from a crawling position, so she'll just stand up and start walking.  She'll make it about 4-5 steps and then fall.  It's so awesome to watch.
2. We're dealing with some stress with Josh's student loans.  He's trying to get it straightened out because he only has one trimester left. yuck.
3.  Photography has been busy...and I LOVE IT. 
4.  I'm in week 4 of Finance...and it sucks.  It's boring.  December 19th can't come quick enough.
5.  Pumpkin show is this week!  YAHOO.  I can't wait for pumpkin donuts.  Neither can my hips.
6. There aren't very many people who comment on my blog anymore :( Am I boring now?  I know I don't blog very often anymore..but you have to still comment hehe.
7. Leslie Sleeman and I have been collaborating to conquer all things adobe photoshop, lightroom, illistrator, & indesign.  I love that girl...but I also love that I have her to bounce ideas off of, ask for help and share all of those programs with!
8.  I'm seriously considering buying bumpits.  I know it's pathetic. But my hair WON'T do that.  And I'm tired of it.
9.  Sarah & LeAnne just launched their new website...it's super cute.  Go check it out!
10.  They also are having their grand opening of their studio.  It's going to be sweeeet!!

I have a friend who's expecing at the end of December.  (Actually two of them)  I was talking to her about how I had a c-section.  I told her to go back in my blog archives and read our birth story.  So I went to read it too.  And I realized I never posted this photo......

Most of you know, this is how she was born, and this is why we had to have a section.  Footline breech.  Feet above her head, folded in half.  Butt down. 
My brother snapped this photo with his phone right after they took her up to do her exam and they got her dressed.  I am so glad he did.  The other photos we have like this, she's naked....and those are not good for the blog! 
Just wanted to share that little memory.

We will have a walker soon!  She's standing by herself like all the time.  She has taken like 1-2 steps.  But that's it.  She'll walk and just hold one of your hands....so we're making progress :) She's still SO STUBBORN.  If you let go of her hand, she'll look at you, sit down and laugh!  She doesn't really care to walk...because she's FAST at crawling.  The girl can book it.

I've had a BUSY week. 
I've been throwing myself into this.  And this.
And it's been WONDERFUL.   I've been so excited and amazed at the wonderful responses just from facebook. 

I had 3 sessions last week, and 3 or 4 more this month.
I'm really enjoying every single one of them, because it's going to be cold soon and I will be limited on places to do sessions. 

Zoe's ears are doing great.  No issues there.  She's supposed to go back to the ENT next week just to have them checked. 

Josh has been gone for work this entire week, and I've been doing the "single parent" thing.  But with a lot of help from my mom & dad.  He left on Sunday, so he wasn't there for his sisters birthday celebration :(  We had lunch at Hoggy's!  Monday I had a newborn session, so my mom came up to watch Z.  Tuesday I had class....and oh boy is that exciting.  I am taking Finance.  YUCK.  Last night mom had her Usborne books party.  She became a consultant.  We all know she has a GREAT love for books...so this is perfect for her.   
Zoe and I are keeping busy the rest of the week while we wait for daddy to come back.
We're working on her and Alyvia's halloween costumes on Friday night.  That should be fun :)
