As promised...

Updates!

This could be long.

This past weekend I spent it scrapbooking! The whole weekend! Me, mom, Melissa, Cindy, Ally and Cindy's sister-Melissa went to the Zane Trace Inn. Melissa, Cindy and I left at about noon and headed over to Pickerington so we could eat @ Noodles & Company and make a shopping stop @ Pizazzit! I got a few things to add to my stash :) Cindy bought her long await Basketball cartridge. We made the mistake of asking if they had it in stock...oops hehe.

We got to the Inn just before 3pm and unloaded the car. With the help of some boys that Christi hires to help us. Now heres where we ran into the big question........do we tip them?
None of us had cash...we planned on scrapbooking the entire weekend and didn't take any. (I've been there before but I didn't even think about tipping them the first time I went....my bad! I didn't know...) So we asked one of the girls that works at the inn and she said most people do tip them....so Cindy told the boys we'd leave it for them Sunday when we left. We went back and forth on the topic and decided it was probably best that we did leave them some money.

After that it took us a little while to decide who would sit where and where the extra tables would go (In addition to the 6 of us there were 3 other Ladies that we shared the house with. The room seats 12 so we had a few extra tables to work with)
Then it was time to scrap away. and eat! The ladies that work at the Inn cook for you...lots of food. I was so stuffed the entire time.

I didn't get as much finished as I wanted to, but it was still fun and I was able to get a few page kits done along with a few wedding things.

I'm almost done with the wedding book. Maybe it will be done before Christmas. That's my next goal haha.

other updates..

Josh is almost done with Softball. His final game is Sunday! That's good since it's getting so cold. But now he's going to be bored again.

Meagan's baby belly is showing! So cute! It's going to be baby time before we know it. I can't wait.

Christmas is coming faster and faster and I have no shopping done. But I do have a good list for myself :)
1. Maybe a Cricut Expression
2. External Hard drive...I have it all picked out!
3. Printer (if I don't go with an expression)
4. Time to relax :)

I have a list for everyone...gift ideas and all, but now I just need the money to pay for it.

We're going to see the Rockettes ...I can not wait! I love them so much! It will be a great way to put us in the christmas spirit.

One Week!

I have not blog in 1 week...that's not like me.

Something.

Something very exciting happend last night...
It has to do with Dev & Meg.... and something in a little box :)

Mad.

The other night ...I was trying to be productive. J was at a softball game...and I'm going away on a scrapbook trip soon and I need to get somethings ready.

I had a DVD with photos already saved on it. Four Months of photos. June-July-August-September....and I was adding October. I added some photos, put it back in my computer and looked at them. Then decided to add more to it......burnt it again, the same way as before...the brand new computer (of about 4 weeks) spits it out and tells me it's done. I put it back in to look at them, and NOTHING IS THERE! WTF! It says it's full, with like 65 MB Left...but nothing will show up. I put it in 2 other computers and still NOTHING.

I cried. And yelled. Then called Dell. Because the brand-new-expensive computer is only 4 weeks old and covered under warranty.

Let's just say I didn't get very far with the first guy. He was nice, but we decided I'd keep an eye on it and see if it acted up again.

(Side note: 2 weeks ago I was going through CD's and DVD's and 4 times in one night it froze my computer and I had to restart just to get the disc out! Grrr...)

So I get off the phone w/ guy #1 and not even 4 minutes later it freezes my comptuer! I call Dell again..and Guy #2 wasn't very helpful...telling me everything I already know and have tried. He gives me some lame answer and tells me I can call his supervisor...so I do. And I leave a message. An he has not called me back!

Josh is calling today. I don't want to deal with it anymore. I need the drive replaced.

One Year...

I've been married one year. (And 3 days)

We've been together almost 6 years.

2003 -We met
2004- I graduated High School
2005- We moved in together
2006-Got Engaged
2007-Married & Bought a House
2008-One Year anniversary....and It's not even over yet.
Soon will be 2009 and what is next? We will see :)

You know what today was?

ZIPLINING!

We lived through it. Wait let me rephrase that...Josh Lived... I was never worried.

It was sweeeeeeeeeeeet.

Our Zip Time was 9:30...and you must arrive 30 minutes prior to sign in. So we left the house at 8:00 AM (Ok fine... 8:08 because I can't ever leave on time..."waitin on a woman") Grabbed some Time Hortons and Headed to Hocking County.

Our Guides (Matt & Jeremiah) were GREAT. If I go back, I will request them. They were fun and very laid back.

Installation

Every couple (married or not) should install something with their other half.

We installed the Storm door yesterday.

A few hours --a lot of screws, one little argument, a cut finger, 2 glue dots, and a trip to lowes--later, we're done. And it's awesome. It's so nice to leave the front door open and have the light. I love daylight.

BTW--Josh did impress me while working away. He had a lot of patience with me while I read all of the instructions

Ok ... So that previous post didn't get completed, so let's finish!

We had a great day (a very busy day) yesterday. After lunch with Josh's Grandparents we went to Lowes. They helped us choose a storm door for our front door, then they headed back home. After that Josh and I ran over to the Eastland Flea Market. I got what I wanted to go for :)

Then Josh had two Softball games so he headed there and I met some work friends in Dublin at Dub Pub for some drinks. We had fun....I didn't stay too late...I headed home then Josh and I rented 21.

Today was the Game! It was great. Our seats were awesome. Afterwards we met Mark & Leah at Bostons downtown for dinner.

Tomorrow we're doing Brunch with my parents (and maybe Dev & Meg?) then not much scheduled the rest of the day. Maybe I can talk Josh into hanging the new door? :)

Monday is the big ziplining day....again, I'm so excited. But a little part of me doesn't want it to be here yet beacause that means my little mini vacation will be over.

In other news...

Manny has an $80 Left Ear infection. Yes, that's how much it's costing to treat it. It just better be gone in the 14 days or I'm not going to be happy.

My Cat now eats dog food. She's so weird. This morning Manny was out of (dog) food and she (cat) sat there and Meowed at me until I gave him (dog) food, So she could eat it....Weirdo!

Megan now has a blog! I love it Meg!

And One Year ago today...... Melissa, Sarah and I were checked into our hotel room, and all three sleeping in one bed. Me in the middle, like a Rose between two thorns hehe:) They kept me company so I wouldn't be too nervous. We had fun. And in 20 hours and 30 minutes I will have been married for ONE YEAR. Wow!

A Few Updates...

I thought I'd post a few updates today...

We're waiting on Josh's Grandparents to get here...and we're going to Cheeseburger in Paradise...yum! (We're both off work today...Love it!)
I ran to Tuttle this morning to get Josh's Anniversary gift...he's been wanting a Josh Cribs Jersey...a White one. They're kind of hard to find. But I found one.

I'm so glad it's Saturday...and it's a Saturday that I don't have something to do (away from my home) every minute of the day!

I am up...waiting on the At&t guy to come fix our phone. So sick of this crap I could scream. And if he can't fix it today I may call and rip someone at Time Warners little head off. There I Feel better now.

Josh is going to hang out here and take care of the phone situation and I'm running to the store to get a few things. Then back here to make Buckeye's for tonight...give Manny a bath....Make FIL and SIL a Bday card...and just relax a little and then we're off to dinner with his family for FIL and SIL birthday. After that we're going to my parents...Dev and Meg's cookout is tonight :)
